Someone was ranting about fedoras being terrible, because of misuse by greasy teenagers in ill-fitting attire. Upon reviewing a bunch of example photos of shitty fedoras, I noticed the wearers were usually not well-groomed and generally made bad fashion choices. So it wasn't the hat that made them look bad, at all, really. Take away their Hot Topic fedoras, and they won't look any better or worse, in my opinion. On the other hand, if you look good, you can get away with wearing anything you want. Look at the celebrities and their awful fashion choices. But everyone loves it, because they are only looking at the beautiful faces, anyway. [/tangent]
I tried to explain that there is nothing wrong with fedoras, in theory. In certain situations, with more appropriate clothes, they're fine. So I drew this, to attempt illustrating both our points. My favourite is the vested panda, with the little violin case. It might contain a violin, it might contain a machine gun. Who is to know??
