I was just wondering what you guys think of EMI. There's only a few pages so far, but it should be enough to either grip you or make you lose interest. So. Feedback?

I like it so far. Especially the squirrel.

The squirrel was kind of a last-minute addition. Not sure how often it'll appear, in the future.

No problem. I've read through pretty much all your work in progress, except for the space pirates one. That one I'm still figuring out how to navigate it's page. After that, I'll read through your completed work too. I'm a webcomic whore.

Oh yeah, I love webcomics, too. But it's frustrating to start reading one after it's been going for years, and you have to spend days reading through the archive.
The oldest comic in there ("Mechakucha") has some really terrible art. I started it in highschool and I don't know what I was thinking. Then it was on hiatus for a reeeeally long time, so I finally just gave it an abrupt ending to get it out of the way.
Is the Open Space section that confusing? It's kind of a novel, but I haven't written very far, yet.

Hrm. What are your favorite webcomics? I have a craptonnn that I read daily/weekly.
And Open Space's prolly not actually. It just has a different layout than the other comics, and I was really tired when I went to that link and was like "bwuh huh? Hurrrrr..."

It's different, because it's less of a webcomic, and more of a novel I want to put into book form, eventually. It will be the greatest novel that no one will buy.
I'm not good at listing favourites. But I have a kind of long list of ones I read regularly. RSS feeds really make it easy to keep track.

>.> I'd buy it :D
I'd say my favorites are Questionable Content, Pvp online (although it's gone downhill in the past couple years), XKCD, Girls With Slingshots, Penny Arcade, and Looking For Group. I have a signed picture of one of the characters done by the author of Questionable Content. I need to get it framed >.>

Of those, I read Questionable Content and Girls with Slingshots. And, even though I don't read Penny Arcade, all last winter I was lurking in one of the secret Santa threads from their message board. XD I was pleasantly shocked at the lengths to which some of those forum regulars would go to, in order to spread holiday cheer. Don't really care for the comic, though. lol

Yeah, Penny Arcade is a bit of a weirder comic. Their stuff is either really funny, or just plain dumb. My fave by far is Questionable Content. I <3 Faye like nobody's business :D
Oh, and the autographed picture I have? Yeah, it's Hannelore, drawn and signed by Jeph Jaques himself :D He was down in Nashville about a year ago at a meet and greet.

I like Hanners. She's crazy, but in a cute way.

Other webcomics I enjoy are Shortpacked, Bad Machinery, Nedroid, Johnny Wander, Kate Beaton's comics, Templar Arizona, etc... But I can't list the rest, because that would take too long. XD;;

Beware Shortpacked, then. If you like it, you might be compelled to also read the artist's previous works... And it's like thirteen years of comics to go through. He is a comic-making machine.

hahaha. awesome. I have a habit of doing that with any new comic I find and enjoy. I'm used to it by now. The only thing that sucks is when you catch up and have to then wait weekly or however often they update. You should see how often I check to see if QC is updated in the early mornings lol.
